Description
You'll be bidding on a 16mm Print of the very first episode of the Saturday Morning children's television series JAMBO! Anyone who remembers this show seems to remember the catchy theme song. Spots were filmed on location in Africa. The series was intended to be a companion of sorts to Marshall Thompson's series Daktari. Ivan Tors was creator and executive producer of both. Each episode highlights different animals in personalized, real life adventure stories. In this episode titled "
Oscar, the Ostrich Who Couldn't Run" a
lazy ostrich is turned back into the African bush to fend for himself.
Print is in overall very nice shape and color has warmed considerably, but there is still some left. K
eep in mind you can still pull the color back out if your intention is to do a color-corrected film scan. No Vinegar Smell.
Comes mounted on an 800ft reel.
There appears to be no copyright registration for this episode or any of the episodes for that matter....
Don't miss your chance to pick up this rarity and bid now before this auction ends!
As always the pictures above are all from the actual film being offered taken while the print was running on a projector. Film is much sharper than pictures indicate. Some pictures might be more out of focus than others due to the camera used NOT the actual print. We never use stock photos!
