16mm Original DESIRE 1936 Marlene Dietrich Gary Cooper

Description

This is a 16mm original print of the 1936 Frank Borzage film DESIRE, a Paramount film starring Marlene Dietrich and Gary Cooper. It was produced by Ernst Lubitsch and photographed by Charles Lang.
This print appears to be from two sources: a 1970s TV print on Eastman stock and a 1980s print made in a private lab from the MCA-TV negative. Contrast in both reels is excellent, but the first reel has a few splices in the credits. The print is otherwise in good condition. There are very few TV cues or vestiges of TV commercial splices. There is no sign of vinegar syndrome.
The print is mounted on two (2) 1600-foot reels. It is offered by one collector to another; no rights are given or implied. The poster art image and still photograph are for reference only.
