Description
For film collectors and music lovers, here is Liberace as he appeared in his very own 1950s television series This is a terrific episode, with lots of familiar music that everyone will know and enjoy. To start things out, Lee opens the show and talks about his recent trip to Washington DC, and dedicates "Stars & Stripes Forever" to President Eisenhower. Then, it's a tribute to New York City and Broadway, featuring "Give My Regards To Broadway," "Lullaby Of Broadway," "The Sidewalks Of New York," and more. Then, Lee dedicates "Don't Take Your Love Away From Me" to a married couple in Denver, followed by a medley of popular Chopin themes. Other songs include "Carioca" and "Beer Barrel Polka." The show wraps with "I'll Be Seeing You." This used 16mm black and white and sound print wear and three splices, but is complete and delivers good picture and marvelous sound. It is mounted on a 1200' reel.Images posted are actual screenshots. No VS.
