    Description

Here we go with the story of what we were always told was a1938 Indian Sport Scout. After working with someone who knows way more about Indians than I do, this is what we came up with. This looks to be a 1936 Scout ( FCF engine # and sheet metal ) with a 741 front fork setup, later top end, outer primary from the 40's, been told the frame is a 40's, dash from a Chief or Standard Scout, and a tool box from the 20's. But it also has very little reproduction stuff on her, thinking foot boards and muffler from Bob's Indian. This was an amateur restoration by a friends dad 40 some odd years ago. The bike and parts came from Riverside RI. and the shop of Woody Peck----m and his rider Vick Samual----n these guys worked for Brown & Sharpe back when they supplied Indian with parts. Rumor had it that flywheels went over the fence to be grabbed later ?? Supposedly they were faster than the factory in the late 30's at Daytona ?? The wheels and magneto ( not Indian ) have been rebuilt, Mag needs new top cover. Mainly Magnetos in Maine did the rebuild. Gary at Custom wheel laced and trued the wheels and mounted the new Coker tires. We are looking for an old registration, State of RI did not do titles for stuff going back 10/15 years, so presently this will be sold with a bill of sale only. She shifts and goes down the road like a 1936 motorcycle should !! I have been the care taker for this bike for the past 25 years, and it's time for someone else to take care of her and give her some love !! Any questions please let me know.

Just a few things, appreciate the bids, the bike doesn't go anywhere till funds clear, bank check or wire transfer, will help your shipper if that's what needs to be done. And please, if you don't have several ebay transactions contact me prior to bidding.
I had to relist this bike as the high bidder cancelled for Health reasons ?? Could not complete this transaction, I had to wait for ebay to cancel the transaction before I could relist ?? So please, If you don't really want the bike don't bid on it !!So here we are again, maybe the third time is a charm ?? Not to be the seller with an attitude, but if your not an old Indian guy or not into antique bikes that need a little love, don't bid on it. eBay should ban BS bidders for a year IMO !!
