    Description

Here is the perfect "heritage-inspired" decor for your railroad-themed room, model train area, man cave or other such space. These original-design posters are based on drawings and diagrams taken from old early-twentieth-century railroad publications, carefully retouched and redesigned into this distinctive blueprint-style format. This particular poster features one of the most distinctive workhorse locomotives of the steam era, a classic 4-4-2 "Atlantic". This style of engine was first used in the late 1800's and would come to fame in America in fast passenger train service. This particular example of a 4-4-2 Atlantic (#1067) was built around 1910 in the Pennsylvania Railroad's own Juniata locomotive shops in Altoona, Pennsylvania. This poster design includes a distinctive "ghosted" photograph of one of these engines, as well as distinctive blueprint-style side and boiler profile line drawings. As an added bonus, a list of the mechanical specifications of this model of locomotive is included.
These posters were designed and are printed in the USA, and ship from the C. B. Gitty headquarters in Rochester, New Hampshire.
