Roddy McDowall BENEATH THE PLANET OF THE APES (1970) 35mm SCI-FI feature film

Here’s a 35mm print of BENEATH THE PLANET OF THE APES (1970), the first sequel to one of the greatest science fiction film series ever made! Starring Roddy McDowall, Charlton Heston, James Franciscus and Kim Hunter. Prints of the APES films do not come up very often. This print of the film appears to have come from the UK release of the film as noted by the UK rating certificate at the head. The print is in good shape with light general wear throughout and an occasional splice. This print is on AGFA stock with good color and Eastman stock that has fade (see pics). The first reel and the third reel are on AGFA, and the second, fourth and fifth reels are on Eastman. The Eastman footage still has a range of color, as can be best seen in the “color girl” reference pic (#11) taken from the leader of the film. This print is complete on 5 reels and will be shipped on cores as seen in the pics. No VS. Check our other auctions for more 35mm films.
