    Description

    Vintage square mesh reddish orange golf ball  Made In England.  This seems to be solid rubber or a similar substance.  This ball does not have the normal click when dropping from 1 or 2 inches.  I believe this is Circa 1930's.  It is possible it is from some type of putting game, or indoor golf game, or it was tried as a normal golf ball????  I have seen many square mesh white golf balls with a similar marking that did not have the same sound when dropping.  I know it will stand out in your collection because of the color.
