    photos, as they are an important part of my description. From a local estate, this vintage sports glass measures approximately 4 1/2" tall with a thick base, and was issued following the World Series. The glass features red, white and blue colors along with an image that appeared in the Oct. 7, 1963 Los Angeles Times daily newspaper announcing the
    Los Angeles Dodgers
    and their four-game sweep over the N.Y. Yankees. The news article along the right side of the image states:
    "Koufax Wins His 2nd Game"
    , referring to star pitcher
    Sandy Koufax
    clinching L.A.'s championship. The photograph pictured on the glass actually features Koufax at center, being mobbed by his Dodger teammates! The opposite side of the glass proclaims the Dodgers as
    "World Champions 1963".

    . The Hall of Fame southpaw won two of the four games, striking out fifteen in Game 1, pitching two complete games and being named the Series' MVP.

    age/handling faults...
